This will give you a general outline of what we ask and how our process works.
We do offer discounts on our older puppies. If a puppy is over 12 weeks old, you are welcome to come meet and view the puppy. If you decide he or she is the right fit for your family, you can place a deposit to hold the puppy while we schedule an appointment with our veterinarian for any additional age-appropriate vaccinations. Once those are completed, your puppy will be ready to go home with you.
There is no deposit or fee to join our waiting list. Because of this, it is very important that you keep an eye on your text messages and respond promptly when we contact you. We work our way through the waiting list in order, so being responsive is the best way to make sure you don’t miss the opportunity to choose your puppy when your turn comes.
All who have been out to the farm understand we want to be convinced “you got this” and that you understand what it takes, and the work involved, in taking a living creature into your life. This should never be done on a whim. We do our best to help you be thoughtful about your choices and offer any advice that might make it easier to make your choice. - Add yourself to the Waiting List (unless pup is available)
- Receive your text that it’s your turn to choose.
- Schedule a time to come to the farm.
- Come out to the farm to visit the pup.
