• Eggs – they usually start laying at 6 to 8 weeks old and should lay 300+ eggs per year
• Meat – ready to butcher at 6 to 8 weeks old
• Space – they require a small fraction of the space needed for chickens
• Quiet – the roosters do crow but are quieter than a chicken and sounds more like a song bird
• Healthy – they aren’t as susceptible to illness as chickens are. They rarely get sick.
